Purpose:
To transmit/receive serial data between our Field Modules.
Description:
Our Wireless Radio/Modem is housed in 8.7" X 7.5"
X 4" rugged, waterproof, polypropylene enclosure. There
is one DB9 connector for interface with computer or Slave, and
an ON/OFF switch. Three LED's act as indicators when transmitting
and/or receiving. It uses eight "AA" batteries
(internally) for power.
It uses 900 mHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology
for interference free communications.
Picture firing a barge show, you're on shore the barge is
1000' on the water, press a key on your laptop, sit back and enjoy
the show. Easy, just place one transceiver near the laptop,
the other near the first Slave and immediately have complete control.
Our Radio/Modem will work with our Sequencer+ System,
Q-fire and Q-lite.
